  1. Monday: This passage is about when king Belshazzar gave a feast. He ordered for the gold cups taken from the tabernacle to be brought to him. While they were drinking from the cups they began to praise their idols. A hand appeared and began to write something on the wall. The king sent for Daniel to interpret what it meant. That night Belshazzar was killed. I think that God would have reason to pass judgement because of the wickedness and sin.

  2. Tuesday: This passage is about when Daniel was appointed to supervise the high officials. The king then decided to place Daniel over the whole empire. The other officials then began to look for faults in the way Daniel was handling the government. The high officers got the king to sign a law that said if any one prayed to anyone other than the king would get thrown into the Lions Den. Daniel was thrown into the Lions den. The king tried to figure out a way to get Daniel out. The Lord sent angels to close the lions mouth. The king then came and took Daniel out, and arrested the officials who accused Daniel. I try to pray everyday. sometimes I don't pray and I ask God to forgive me.

  3. Wednesday: This passage is about when the Lord told the Lord to go to Nineveh. Jonah ran away and headed to Tarnish. He got on a ship and in Joppa. The Lord sent a great wind and there was a violent storm. The sailors began to cast their lots for who caused the storm. They asked Jonah what they should do to calm the storm. He told them to throw him overboard. They asked the Lord to not let them die for taking Jonah's life. They threw him overboard. Jonah was swallowed by a fish. Jonah prayed, and the Lord commanded the fish to vomit out Jonah. I avoid doing what God wants me to do when I do not want to do what He tells me too. I try to come up with excuses for why I can't do it.

  4. Thursday: This passage is about when the Lord tells Jonas a second time to go to Nineveh, and Jonah obeyed. When the king heard the news, he covered himself in sack cloths. He told everyone to not taste anything. The Lord saw that Nineveh turned from their wicked ways and he didn't bring destruction. Jonah became angry at the Lord for being compassionate towards the people of Nineveh. I complain to God when things aren't going the way I want them to go.
