Monday: This passage is about when Isaiah saw the Lord. Isaiah's sins were removed and he was forgiven. The Lord then asked whom should he send to be a messenger to His people. Isaiah said that he would go. The Lord chose Isaiah to go deliver the Lord's message to His people. I realize I need God's forgiveness when I do something and I feel guilty. We all sin and, we need God's forgiveness every day of our lives
ReplyDeleteTuesday: This passage is about when Isaiah delivered the message to God's people. He told them about everything God had done for them. He told them about how God forgives our sins. What Jesus did for me is very difficult to put into words. Jesus died so that I, a sinner who did not deserve Him dieing for me could live. Jesus was perfect. He suffered for us.
ReplyDeleteWednesday: This passage is about when The Lord calls on Jeremiah. The Lord tells Jeremiah that He has set him apart. He has appointed him prophet over nations. Jeremiah told the Lord he was too young. The Lord reached out his hands to Jeremiah and touched his lips and said that I have put my words into your mouth. I would love for God to use my life. I would love to be an example for how a christian is supposed to live.
ReplyDeleteThursday: This passage is about when the Lord speaks to Jeremiah telling him to write on a scroll all the words He has spoken to him. Since Jeremiah was not allowed to go into the temple, he told Baruch to go and read the scroll. The officials heard what was going on and summoned for Baruch to read the scroll to them. The officials told him they must tell the king. The king found out and he burned the scroll. Jeremiah took another scroll and dictated to Baruch what to write. I am willing to take risk for God;however, that is hard to do sometimes. I would stand up for God and what I believe in.
ReplyDeleteFriday: This passage is about when Shephatiah hears what Jeremiah is saying to the people. The officials then tell Shephatiah that Jeremiah should be killed. He told them it was in their hands. They took Jeremiah and put him in the cistern. Ebed- Melek hears that Jeremiah is in the cistern and tells the king. The king tells him to get him out before he dies. It can be hard to stand up for what you believe in.My life compares to Jeremiah's because People often try to criticize you for standing up for what is right.
